Fully Automatic 2-Roll 60″ Length Tube Forming System

Challenge

Customer requested perfectly rolled tubes at a rate on 60 Parts Per Hour.

They also required the system to run on demand with no operator required to make these S.S. up to 60″ length tubes.

The downstream seam automatic seam welder makes beautifully rolled tubes to produce a high quality finished tank.

Solution

Weldlogic Engineering designed a Servo Driven Heavy Duty CNC 2-Roll to form these almost flat less rolled S.S. tubes.

The Fully Automatic 2-Roll System enabled the plant to eliminate a roll operator and use 1 operator to feed the fully automatic seam welder and expander.
