Multi-Axis Micro-Tig Weld Cell with HD Cameras and Inspection System

Challenge

Design and build an easy to use micro tig welding cell to seal weld critical aircraft sensors in a very high production environment that requires 3 shifts a day 7 days a week to keep up with the high demand. Electrode position over the part critical to the weld results.

Solution

Weldlogic engineering developed a cell with three HD inspection camera and tooling to enable easy load and unload to enable a “non-welder” operator the capacity to make the high quality, high yields results automatically.

The camera & color graphic aids show the sweet spot for the operator to position the electrode for ideal welding results. A third camera enables easy weld inspection of every weld.
