AWS PA-10-100 / Advanced Welding System Micro-Tig -Plasma Welding

CHALLENGE

Weldlogic Engineering was challenged to design a next-generation Micro-TIG / Micro-Plasma, computer-controlled welding cell capable of storing all micro-welding recipes in a single, purpose-built system.

The AWS – Advanced Welding System controls all critical weld parameters with accuracy better than =1%, ensuring consistent, repeatable results. A proven arc starter, based on our PA-10-100-STD platform, delivers reliable ignition, followed by programmable weld current from 0.10 to 100 amps with a stable arc across the full range.

The system also provides precise control of tungsten-to-work distance and highly accurate linear and rotary motion. With multi-axis capability and advanced automation, it eliminates reliance on skilled welders and enables consistent results with a standard operator.

SOLUTION

AWS-PA-10-100 Micro-Tig or Micro Plasma platform is manufactured to make the most precision Micro-Welds possible with all parameters closed looped or positioning via A.C. Servo.

We offer this system with the following options to enable you to control the entire process:
• Automatic Gap Set of Tungsten to Work Distance (programmable in .001″ steps)
• Dual Gas control with flow sensors to eliminate gas flow related scrap parts (gas alarm to alert operator)
• Password protected at 3 levels to eliminate operators changing the validated setting
• Thumb drive or Profet to manage all your developed / validated programs
• Multiple Level programming to enable heat tapering if required
• 4 Axis of C.N.C. programmability
• Seam Tracking or Seam Finding
• Speed Lathe -Available in a wide range of lengths and diameters to accommodate requirements
• Turn-Key system with process development and validation included
