- Weldlogic Engineering was challenged to manufacture an Automatic G.T.A.W. Dabber Welding cell to address a wide variety of jet engine repairs
- The part lengths, diameters, and weight would require a rigid Column and Boom along with a heavy duty positioner with tilt
- The G.T.A.W. Dabber would need to make very low heat input low dilution repair edge welds
The AWS-210 software was configured to synchronize the pulsing of current, voltage control, and wire retract to offer the ideal weld build and repair G.T.A.W. Dabber weld cell. A heavy duty Column and Boom was selected along with a 2 ton tilt positioner to manage the part tilt and rotation. All the motion controls were A.C. Servo Driven to offer the highest degree of repeatability of the critical repair process.
